ControlTek was chosen as a partner by Stinger Medical, a manufacturer of integrated computer workstations, due to our unique combination of electronic design, manufacture and test (DMT) experience for medical devices.

The primary project goal was to reduce cost while increasing features for the Integriti Product all within an ISO 9000 and FDA compliant design and manufacturing process.

ControlTek was also challenged with replacing many obsolete components with items that were available in today's market. The ControlTek project team, including a dedicated project manager, design & manufacturing team, worked closely with Stinger Medical to meet all design requirements and deliver a new product with a 60% cost reduction. ControlTek not only met the primary goals of cost reduction and feature enhancement, but also was instrumental in environmental testing and agency approval.

Design, Manufacture, Test...

Integration: ControlTek not only assembles the finished electronic device, we also integrate with additional items (manual, consumables, software, packaging, etc.) and coordinates with for direct shipment to the end-user.

Integrated Assembly: ControlTek provides all required manufacturing services in-house - from surface mount (SMT) circuit assembly, cables, programming, mechanical assembly, test, packaging and shipping. We truly know the product and can act as an extension of the customer.

MSA: ControlTek works cooperatively with customers to document and understand the product supply chain in order to reduce material cost, improve availability and limit cost liability. This formal agreement insures all parties are aware of critical material issues while defining how the supply chain will be managed.

Test: All ControlTek customers demand high quality and products that function correctly. From the outset of the initial production deployment, ControlTek's project team works closely with the customer in the development of test equipment and procedures. Several products require a full calibration procedure that is essential for the correct operation of the device in the field.

Warranty/Service: ControlTek's highly skilled technicians are essential for the initial test and calibration while being available for any warranty/service issues. For many customers, ControlTek manages devices ready-to-ship as backup units for customers. If any serious technical issues arise, our technicians and engineers stand ready to assist our customers at any moment.
